E-resource Management Systems (ERMS) are tools that impact libraries at multiple levels. Consider the patron and staff experience, the ability to support research, curate the outputs of academic community while making collections accessible, and the library’s ability to “do business” effectively. A significant amount of today’s collections – and increasingly those in the future –are electronic. Because of this trend, it’s vital that students and information professionals continuously assess the method of tracking a library’s electronic information resources.

The Summon service from Serials Solutions has reached agreement to index L'Année philologique, an A&I database published by the Société Internationale de Bibliographie Classique, in collaboration with the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the American Philological Association (APA).

To celebrate the contributions of our 70 in-house librarians, Serials Solutions recently hosted an employee English tea party at our Seattle office. Five varieties of specialty tea were served alongside delicate cucumber sandwiches and a layered white cake.
